Also relevant is Planning Circular 1/98 - The alteration and replacement of windows.
Assessment
The application is a Registered Building. The applicant is applying for planning permission and Registered Building Consent for the installation of replacement windows. The proposal will not adversely affect the character and appearance of the Registered Building, as the proposed windows are replicating style of the existing windows. The Conservation Officer is content with the proposal. It is recommended that planning permission and Registered Building Consent be granted subject to conditions.
