The application has been subject of pre-application and post-submission discussion. The replacement door is to replace an unauthorised uPVC front door. The Conservation Officer is content with the proposal and will enhance the character and appearance of the Conservation Area. It is recommended that planning permission granted subject to conditions.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This permission relates to the installation of a timber front door with glazed panels and fanlight as shown in drawing number 649-1 date stamped 11th March 2009 and 649-2A date stamped 23rd March 2009.

C 3. The development shall be finished in accordance with the submitted sample and letter from Mr Kinnell date stamped 5th May 2009 indicating in the finish to be Ebony, black.

C 4. The replacement door must be installed within 3 months from the date of this permission.
