The application sought permission to erect a single block of six lock-up garages on a parcel of undeveloped land behind 68 Waterloo Road, Ramsey. The block would measure 16.6 metres in length, 5.8 metres in depth, and 4.3 metres to the ridge. The site sits within a predominantly residential area under the Ramsey Local Plan and is not within a conservation area or any protected landscape zone. Condition 1
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Condition 2
This approval relates to the erection of six lock up garages as proposed in the submitted documents and drawings 299/1/1, 299/1/2 and 299/1/3 all received on 24th February 2009.
Condition 3
Permission hereby given by this approval requires two garages too be retained for the sole use of 68 Waterloo Road.
Condition 4
The roof(s) must be finished in natural slate or a high quality imitation slate which must be approved by the Planning Authority PRIOR to the commencement of works.
Condition 5
The proposed garages may be used only in association with residential use and for no commercial purposes.
