Mr Lee Marshall Chichele Cottage St Judes IM7 2ER In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Ms Anne Hughes Proposal: Erection two timber sheds and creation of hardstanding at: Field 130578 St Judes Road Sulby Isle Of Man which was considered on 14th August 2009, for the reasons set out below. Date of Issue: 17th August 2009 Murray House Mount Havelock Douglas
Reason(S) For Refusal:
- The site is zoned as being within an area of agricultural/open space where there is a presumption against development. It is considered the retention of such buildings has a detrimental impact upon the appearance of the countryside and would therefore be contrary to Environmental Policy 17 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan.
Note The erection two timber sheds and creation of hardstanding which has been refused shall be removed and the land reinstated to its former state by 8th October 2009 unless an appeal is requested.
This decision was made by the Director of Planning and Building Control in accordance with the authority delegated to him under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005.

- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later. Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.
