Ref: 23/01454/GB & 23/01454/CON Dear Thomas Following our recent planning application ref. 23/01454/GB (23/01454/CON) we have noted the comments regarding noise levels and would like to offer the reassurances sort and to clarify section 6.6 in the planning statement. We are very aware and mindful of the premises location and can confirm that any music played in the proposed facility would be for background purposes only and would not be heard externally in the surrounding residential area. We would of course work with the fabric of the building to find the optimum music level that would respect our fellow neighbours. Also To confirm that there would not be any studio instructed classes or group training at the proposed facility which accounts for higher noise levels in other facilities. The proposed installation of an air management system would allow us to keep the windows closed and sealed and also the double door entrance would also significantly reduce or eliminate external noise.

We have taken sound recordings outside existing facilities in Douglas that demonstrate there is a very low or no level of noise that emits from these gym facilities. These can be submitted as part of the application if required?
