Statement/explanation
In October 2020, I started to build a small flat roofed sunroom on the rear of my property under the permitted development order. The construction of the flat roof was copied from the flat roof dormer that was passed in 2019, So to keep it all matching and constant to the existing building. The reason for the extension was to build a playroom for my daughter, the sunroom was finished in 2021 - At no time have I had any issues, no complaints or objections towards the build.
In March this year (2023) my mother passed away due to ill health - leaving my father on his own in the UK. He suffers from Labyrinthitis and some mobility issues, so he will need care - so we have made the decision to take care of him ourselves, which has forced us to sell the property but we are very saddened to do so, as we have lived here 18 years in kirk Michael and made this our family home. There isn't enough space to move my father in to take care of him, so this is the only reason for the move.
On the boundary inspection, it was noted that the sunroom was too close to the boundary - a mistake on my part. It is 820 mm instead of 1000 mm - so a difference of 180 mm and this is the reason that I am making this application for retrospective planning. I would be very grateful if you could consider this application.
Yours sincerely,
