Hi Helen, Dawn, From the Planning List 22 September 2023 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and reconsultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:

•  23/01070/B

The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:

•  23/00962/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The applicant should make sure that the proposed building curtilage on the northern corner matches their title deeds and the existing boundary wall i.e. the existing boundary wall appears to slightly curve in the northern corner compared to the proposed boundary wall.
•  23/01038/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking.
•  23/01041/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking.
•  23/01063/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking, subject to the dwellings remaining as tourist accommodation for the lifetime of the development (due to adopted highway issues and access considerations). The applicant is advised to consider cycle parking and EV charging points for the users of the tourist accommodation.
•  23/01068/C – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking due to the sustainable location of the proposals near local amenities. Residents can use existing bin storage and parking arrangements for the building.
•  23/01072/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking.
•  23/01077/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking, subject to parking and vehicle turning, and access visibility conditioned as per approved plans to be implemented before occupation of the site. A Section 109(a) highway agreement will be needed for the new dropped kerbed vehicular access.
•  23/01086/C – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking, due to the small size of the operation/room, off-street parking available for customers and using an existing access that has no observed safety issues that have occurred i.e. accidents.
•  23/01097/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking, subject to parking and vehicle turning, and access works as per approved plans to be implemented

before occupation of the site. A Section 109(a) highway agreement will be needed for the alterations to the public highway to facilitate the access.
