At a meeting of the Planning Committee, 26th January 2015, it was resolved to approve this application subject to conditions and formal execution of a Legal Agreement to secure a monetary deed for £10K which would support restoration of the land if and when the quarrying activity stopped.

A copy of the relevant Minute is attached.

The Department, in consultation with Pooil Vaaish Quarry Limited, has negotiated and concluded two legal agreements which have now been executed on its behalf.

In accordance with the minute I authorise issue of the decision notice granting the planning permission as recommended by Ms Gray in their original report dated 19th January 2015.
