Land Adjacent To, Grianane, Glen Auldyn, Ramsey, Isle Of Man, IM7 2af
This application sought permission to erect a dwelling on land adjacent to Grianane, Glen Auldyn, Ramsey, Isle of Man, in the parish of Lezayre. The proposal was linked to an earlier planning approval on the same site. The officer's report noted that the site is relatively flat and largely grassed, with some small trees that would need to be removed. Mature landscaping along the northwest boundary was observed to help limit any overlooking or visual impact from the proposed dwelling. The application was permitted by committee in February 2015, with the officer having recommended approval.
The application was permitted by committee on 13 February 2015. The officer recommended approval, and the site conditions — including its relatively flat, largely lawned character and mature boundary landscaping — were noted as relevant to the assessment of impact.
