The provision of 5 dwellings would constitute an overintensive use of the site in an area of high landscape value and scenic significance.
NOTE: This refusal is without prejudice to a further application for no more than 3 plots. The applicant should also demonstrate how the existing trees will be protected, a 20.0m deep belt of landscaping adjacent the A3 can be accommodated, and the privacy of adjoining dwellings be protected.
