In pursuance of his powers under the above Act and Order, the Minister for Infrastructure, the Hon P A Gawne MHK, does hereby in the name of and on behalf of the Department APPROVE planning application 14/00885/C by Mr David Fisher & Mrs Shan Fisher for Extension to residential curtilage of dwelling (retrospective) at Part of Field 414242 adjacent to Kimmeragh, Ballafesson Road, Port Erin, subject to the following conditions:
- The new boundary must be defined by natural planting of trees and shrubs of indigenous species or a Manx Bank as defined in Planning Circular 1/92, details of either of which must be shown on a further drawing to be submitted to and approved in writing by the Department within 3 months of the date of this decision.
Reason: To ensure the provision of an appropriate landscape boundary with the surrounding area.
- Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Permitted Development) Order 2012, or any Order superseding this, no built development shall be undertaken within the extended curtilage area without prior written approval by the Department.
Reason: To control development in the interests of the amenities of the surrounding area.
Note: This approval relates to Drawing Nos PA1, PF/LP/01 and the Location Plan at scale 1:2500 received by the Planning and Building Control Division on 24 July 2014.
