ISLE OF MAN PLANNING SCHEME (DEVELOPMENT PLAN) ORDER 198209/00667/A β APPROVAL IN PRINCIPLE FOR ERECTION OF A DWELLING TO REPLACE EXISTING STABLES, LAND AND STABLES ADJACENT TO STOVELL, TROMODE ROAD, DOUGLAS, ISLE OF MAN

Exact Drainage Details Required β To be submitted with a full Planning Application
Exact Details of the drainage layout must be provided to the Borough of Douglas Drainage Section for approval.
The proposed dwelling must be connected to the public sewer(s) in a manner acceptable to the Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority and on terms and conditions, which must be agreed with the Borough of Douglas Drainage Section prior to the commencement of any building works. All drainage works must conform to the requirements of the Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority.
Note: The applicant contractor is required to contact the Douglas Corporations Drainage Department, prior to work commencing on site to discuss this proposed connection.
A Communication Fee will be payable to the Department of Transport in respect of this drainage connection.
It should be noted that it is an offence under Manx legislation to permit the discharge of polluting or harmful matter to any public sewers or watercourses. Appropriate measures must be taken by the developer/occupier of the premises to ensure compliance with the legislation.
In the event that this application is approved I should be grateful if these comments could be incorporated in the approval notice.
