Permission was granted for the erection of a building to provide an indoor manege, stables, and tack room at Nab Farm, Top Road, Crosby, Isle of Man. The application was decided by the Planning Committee and permitted on 6 July 2010. The site sits approximately 220 metres north of Top Road, with the main house screened by mature trees. The area beyond the existing dwelling had previously been used for farm buildings and was described as generally untidy at the time of assessment. The main planning issues examined included the impact on local amenity, any potential loss of high quality agricultural land, effects on the local highway network, and the overall impact on the character and appearance of the countryside. The application was approved subject to five conditions.

The key planning issues considered were the impact on local amenity, any potential loss of high quality agricultural land, effects on the local highway network, and the impact on the character and appearance of the countryside in terms of siting, design, size, and finish. The officer also recommended approval, and no conflict between that recommendation and the final decision was identified.
