ISLE OF MAN PLANNING SCHEME (DEVELOPMENT PLAN) ORDER 1982

In pursuance of their powers under the above Acts and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the application made by you on behalf of G. Owen,
Erection of farm building, Field 446, Ballacashin Farm, near Abbeylands, Onolan which was considered at a meeting held on the 13th March, 1987, subject to the compliance with the conditions or modifications specified on the attached schedule.

EXTRACT FROM THE ISLE OF MAN PLANNING SCHEME (DEVELOPMENT PLAN) ORDER 19.12
Effect of initial decisions
- (1) An initial decision shall not have effect until the tise for applying for a review of the decision has expired and, if such an application is duly made, until the review thereof, and any subsequent appeal in respect thereof, has been finally disposed of or until the relevant times for appeal have expired or the relevant appeal has been duly withdrawn.
SCHEDULE OF CONDITIONS
Application No. 87/3196
- The building(s) shall not be used for any other purpose than that indicated on the plan or in the application without the consent of the Committee.
- This permission is granted on condition that such permission shall be deemed to be a licence for the erection and use of the building and shall be revocable at any time if the building in question is at such date, in the opinion of the Committee, not in a good structural condition and/or not properly painted or otherwise treated or has become detrimental to the amenities of the district in which it is situated. Upon revocation of this licence such building shall be taken down and removed upon one calendar month's notice in writing being given by the Committee.
- The development shall be completed within the period of TWENTY-FOUR (24) months from the date of this approval WHICH SHALL CEASE TO HAVE EFFECT IN DEFAULT OF COMPLIANCE WITH THIS CONDITION except in respect of any development completed within that period.
- Subject to the last foregoing condition the development having been commenced shall be carried on to completion in a workmanlike and expeditious manner to the satisfaction of the Planning Committee and if not so completed within the said period of (24) TWENTY-FOUR months it shall be a further condition of this approval that the applicant shall submit a new application for consideration by the Committee in respect of the uncompleted development.
- The sheeting must be dark grey or black.
- The Manx Electricity Authority must be consulted to determine the clearance required from the overhead line which crosses the site.
