Department Of Infrastructure ### Memorandum To: Ian McCauley, Director of Planning and Building Control From: Ian Brooks, Planning Officer Subject: PA 10/00088 - Retention and completion of development containing 62 apartments, a restaurant, office unit and basement car parking, Former Bridge Garage Site, Bridge Road, Douglas Date: On the 2nd July 2010, the above application was reported to the Planning Committee with a recommendation that the Planning Committee delegate to officers the granting of planning permission subject to the satisfactory completion of a Section 13 Agreement and subject to conditions. The Planning Committee passed a resolution which accepted the case officer's recommendation. A Section 13 Agreement has now been completed to ensure a commuted sum is provided to the Department of Social Care in offset the affordable housing provision. However, the legal agreement also allows the owner to dedicate any of the apartments within the development as affordable housing units. ### Recommendation In accordance with the Planning Committee's resolution, it is recommended that planning permission be granted subject to the conditions agreed by the Planning Committee at its meeting on the 2nd July 2010.
