In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Infrastructure determined to APPROVE a planning application by Mr John Anderson & Mrs Fiona Anderson, Ref 14/00460/B, for the erection of six timber cabins and use of land as a camp site at Field 330095 Knockaloe Beg Farm Knockaloe Beg Lane Raggatt Peel Isle Of Man subject to compliance with the following condition(s):
Reason: To comply with article 14 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No2) Order 2013 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
REASON: the only justification for the pods and access track is related to the temporary nature of the accommodation and their contribution to the tourist accommodation already available on the wider site. If the pods are no longer used or required for such purposes they should no longer remain on site.
REASON: The introduction of car parking to the rear of the pods will increase the visual impact of the property and as such, and to add to the character of the camping experience in this rural setting the vehicles should be parked elsewhere than the camping field.
This approval relates to the information, illustrations and plans all received on 10th April, 2014.
This decision was made by the Planning Committee in accordance with the authority delegated to it. This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No 2) Order 2013. Any appeal against this decision must be in accordance with Article 8 of the Order.
A valid appeal must be in writing, signed by the appellant, and submitted to the Department within 21 days of the date of this Notice. To further validate the appeal it must contain:

Please note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision, together with correspondence relative to the application, are available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
Whichever is the later.
If no appeal is lodged within 21 days of the date of issue overleaf, and this decision becomes final, the Department’s public reference copy (counter copy) of the planning application may be collected by the applicant or their agent from Murray House.
Please note that if the counter copy of the application is not collected within THIRTY DAYS following the last date on which a planning appeal can be made it will be destroyed without further notice.
