Permission was granted for the erection of nine livestock shelters across five fields near Kirk Michael, Isle of Man. The application was submitted by Isle of Man Goats and decided by the Department of Infrastructure under delegated powers. The site spans several fields to the south and west of Slieu Curn, east of Mull View, and northwest of Lhergy Vreck Farm. One of the fields already had an agricultural building in place at the time of the officer's site visit. The case officer recommended approval and the application was permitted on 6 May 2014, subject to three conditions.
The Department of Infrastructure approved the application on 6 May 2014. The officer recommended approval and the delegated decision followed that recommendation. Three conditions were attached to the permission.
Condition 1
1. The development hereby approved shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision notice.
Condition 2
2. The nine livestock shelters hereby approved must be a dark green/olive green colour and be retained thereafter.
Condition 3
3. The nine livestock shelters hereby approved must only be used for agricultural purposes. If they are no longer used or required for these purposes, they must be removed from the site to the satisfaction of the planning authority.
