Lifestyle Furniture, our tenants, is a well-established local retailer that has operated successfully for the past 25 years.
They have recently had to reassess their business needs and requirements regarding our previously approved planning application (2301504B) for a semi-covered marshalling, decanting and loading area.
The change is due in part to an increase in the volume of larger trailers being delivered, which can take many days to unload. This requires the need for a totally dry and secure marshalling area to unload and decant goods for delivery or storage. As these trailers may take a few days to unload, the requirement for a secure lockable area has become necessary for the business.
