1 October 2024 · Delegated
48, Sunningdale Drive, Onchan, Isle Of Man, IM3 1ej
Permission was granted for a single storey rear extension and the installation of sliding doors at 48 Sunningdale Drive, Onchan, a semi-detached two storey property on a corner plot between Sunningdale Drive and Eskdale Road. The officer considered two main planning issues: whether the extension would be in keeping with the character and appearance of the area, and whether it would harm the amenity of neighbouring properties. Both were found to be acceptable. The application was decided under delegated powers on 1 October 2024, with one condition attached to the approval.
The application was approved on 1 October 2024 under delegated powers. The officer assessed the proposal against character and appearance considerations and its potential impact on neighbouring amenity, finding it acceptable on both counts.
