Apologies that the Ecosystem Policy Team did not pick up this with the original application but we request that the common gorse Ulex Europaeusincluded in the native hedgerow planting mix is replaced, as this species can spread easily and be quite invasive. If gorse is wanted as part of the landscaping scheme then we recommend that western gorse Ulex galliiis planted instead.
