Categories: Dan
Hi Helen, Dawn, From the Planning List 19 April 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re‐consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
- 24/00381/B
- 24/00395/B
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
- 24/00398/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the proposals are reusing an existing building in a sustainable location with parking restrictions on the adjacent network controlling parking. Cycle storage implemented before first occupation, and details of bin storage on the site, should be conditioned on permission.
- 24/00399/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the retained driveway is acceptable for the site with the garden room erected.
- 24/00407/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. The widened driveway is acceptable. A S109 highway agreement will be required for the driveway tie‐in with the adopted highway. DOI Highway Drainage should be consulted on the proposals.
- 24/00425/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking due to the modest changes to the building.
- 24/00429/C – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is in an industrial area suitable for the proposed operation.
- 24/00434/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. It is advised to replace the existing pay machine to the west of the site, and provide a dropped kerb adjacent to the marked disabled bays for access onto Loch Promenade, for enhanced accessibility and mobility on the site for visitors and disabled users.
- 24/00436/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the existing access is acceptable for the proposals.
- 24/00445/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as there is a retained 1.2m minimum width footway achieved at the pole location.
- 24/00446/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as two vehicles can be parked on the drive with the removal of the garage for parking.
Highway Services HDC has no interest (NHI) in:
