Highway Comments:
The site is located adjacent to the access for a supermarket car park which leads out onto Bay View Road.
The erection of a 3.0m high football / cricket net adjacent to this junction must not create any obstructions to visibility for emerging drivers exiting the supermarket car park.
As a result, the net must be positioned 2.5m back from the carriageway edge of Bay View Road in order to main visibility.
Should you be mindful to approve this application, please attach the following condition:
- The alignment of the net shall be set back 2.5m from the carriageway edge of Bay View Road and maintained thereafter to the satisfaction of the Planning Authority.
