The comment stated;
Near neighbour. I have to walk/drive past this site to reach the main road. This is a residential area, not an industrial estate. The applicant parks two commercial fish and chip vehicles in his driveway on a daily basis. When a further vehicle is also parked in the driveway I have witnessed a Robinsons delivery van reversed into the top of the driveway, blocking the road whilst a delivery is made. Sometimes when walking past the property there is an unpleasant smell of hot cooking oil or fat. Presumably part of the process is to part cook chips then freeze them before loading on to the vehicles parked in the driveway. I find this unacceptable.
Although the applicant refers to the present scale of the operation I am concerned that there would be potential to upscale the industrial operation and create even more nuisance. This operation is a blight, right at the entrance to Cooil Breryk, an otherwise very pleasant residential estate.
