30 October 2019 · Delegated
4, Cedar Walk, Douglas, Isle Of Man, IM2 5ng
This application sought permission to erect a replacement extension to the rear of 4 Cedar Walk, Douglas, a two-storey semi-detached property on the eastern side of Cedar Walk within an urban housing estate. The main planning considerations were the potential visual impact on the street scene and any effect on the amenities of neighbouring properties. Both were assessed and the application was approved. The decision was made on a delegated basis, with one condition attached to the permission.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture approved the application on 30 October 2019. The key planning considerations were the potential visual impact on the street scene and the potential effect on neighbouring amenities, both of which were found to be acceptable.
