West Building, Ramsey Grammar School, Lezayre Road, Ramsey, Isle Of Man, IM8 2rg
Permission was granted for the erection of a 20-cycle bike shelter within the grounds of Ramsey Grammar School on Lezayre Road, Ramsey. The shelter was proposed on the eastern side of the school's west building, in an area already used for parking near the Crossags Lane entrance. The main planning considerations were the potential visual impact on the school and any effects on nearby properties. The application was approved on a delegated basis, with one condition attached to the permission.
The application was approved by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture on a delegated basis. The key planning considerations were the visual impact on Ramsey Grammar School and any effects on neighbouring properties, both of which were found to be acceptable.
