TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1999 The Town and Country Planning (Registered Buildings) Regulations 2013
In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture determined to APPROVE an application by Mr & Mrs David & Ann Grioux, Ref 22/01168/CON, for the Installation of replacement windows - RB 1 at Bishopscourt Mansion House Bishopscourt Kirk Michael Isle Of Man IM6 2EZ .
Any conditions or notes which apply to the approval are set out below. This approval is subject to compliance with any conditions listed and may not be implemented until it becomes final (see guidance notes).
Reason: To comply with paragraph 2(2)(a) of schedule 3 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1999 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented registered building consents.
This decision relates to drawings 6296 PL01, 6296 PL02, 6296 PL03, 6296 PL597, 6296 PL598, 6296 PL599, 6296 PL600, 6296 PL601, 6296 PL602, 6296 PL603, 6296 PL604, 6296 PL605, 6296 PL606, 6296 PL607, 6296 PL608, 6296 PL609, 6296 PL610, 6296 PL611, 6296 PL612, 6296 PL613, 6296 PL614, 6296 PL615, 6296 PL616, 6296 PL617, 6296 PL618, 6296 PL619, 6296 PL620, 6296 PL621, 6296 PL622, 6296 PL623, 6296 PL624, 6296 PL625, 6296 PL626, 6296 PL627, 6296 PL628, 6296 PL629, 6296 PL630, 6296 PL631, 6296 PL632, 6296 PL633, 6296 PL634 and 6296 PL635 all submitted on 16th September 2022. In addition to the drawings, this decision also relates to the Design and Access Statement and Historic Window Assessment submitted on 16th September 2022. This decision has been made for the following reasons(s) The application is in accordance with section 16 of the Town and Country Act 1999 as the building's special interest is being preserved. The application also meets the tests of planning policy statement 1/01 as well as strategic policy 4, environment policy 32 and environment policy 34 of the IOM Strategic Plan 2016 as the building is being protected, preserved and traditional materials are being used. The application is therefore judged to be acceptable.

This decision was made by a Principal Planner in accordance with the authority delegated to them.
This decision refers only to that applied for under the Town and Country Planning Act 1999 and its subordinate legislation.

Implementation The decision does not become final until either
Development must progress in accordance with the plans approved under, and any conditions attached to this approval (irrespective of any changes that may separately be requested at the Building Control stage or by any other Statutory Authority). This approval does not remove the need to also comply with any other relevant legislation.
Any conditions requiring certain works, submissions etc. prior to commencement of development must be fulfilled prior to work starting on site. Failure to adhere to this approval and meet the requirements of all conditions may invalidate this approval or result in formal enforcement action.
Appeal Any appeal must be in writing and submitted to the Department within 21 days of the date of this Notice. The appeal must contain:
Failure to meet all of the relevant above requirements will mean that the appeal cannot be validated.

If this decision becomes final because there is no appeal, the Department’s public reference copy (counter copy) of the planning application may be collected by the applicant or their agent from Murray House. Please note that if the counter copy of the application is not collected within thirty days following the last date on which a planning appeal can be made it will be destroyed without further notice.
