The pieces of the mast are being retained by the Council so they can be re-erected if that is determined to be the most appropriate course of action. In the meantime the Council's Regeneration & Community Committee has asked that properties on Derby Square be consulted prior to the submission of a planning application setting out how it is proposed to proceed.
