TO: Mrs. S. Bolton, Advocate, Corlett Bolton & Co., 4 Finch Road, Douglas, Isle of Man.

In pursuance of his powers under the above Acts and Order the MINISTER for Local Government and the Environment, following report by the appointed person, does hereby REFUSE the application by Mr & Mrs A Morgan-Moodie for the erection of a detached dwelling, garage, driveway and vehicular access, Land at Rear of Ferndale, Saddle Road, Douglas, for the following reasons:-
- The proposed access arrangements are unsatisfactory and unsafe.
- The proposed turning arrangements are unacceptable, and would result in vehicles being constrained to reverse out of the site and out of Ferndale Lodge, so increasing the danger posed by the access.
- There is no proper analysis of the effect of the proposed development on the trees around the site.
