Hi Jason,

We have noticed that an objection has been raised against the day care and would like to provide a response:

Firstly; the complainant lives in Farm Hill and not Onchan.

Secondly; the complainant has a close connection to Charlotte Quirk who has submitted planning application number 16/00911/C to open a similar business in the Braddan area, which is also on a busy route and has a potential of a dog escaping within a busy industrial estate.

Thirdly; we have purchased extremely high internal fencing so dogs cannot escape from the premises. We will also be fully insured.

Finally; our business is aimed at customers who already commute along the route through Onchan so we do not for see a huge increase in traffic. Our pick up and drop off times are before and after peak traffic times.

We believe that the day care/pet shop and groomers will be an excellent addition to Onchan as these services are not currently offered here.
