In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Infrastructure does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Mr & Mrs Richard Starkey Proposal: Approval in principle for erection of a dwelling at: Land Adjacent To Sheeoi Jurby Road Lezayre Ramsey Isle Of Man
which was considered on 12th January 2012, for the reasons set out below.
Date of Issue: 12th January 2012
Murray House Mount Havelock Douglas
Mrs C Dudley Deputy Secretary to the Planning Committee
Reason(S) For Refusal:
- Despite the site being part of a residential curtilage, this does not bring with it a presumption in favour of further development if the site is not within an area designated for development which this site is not. As such, the development of this site would conflict with the Strategic Aim, Strategic Policy 2, Spatial Policy 5 and Housing Policy 4 of the Strategic Plan.
This decision was made by the Development Control Manager in accordance with the authority delegated to her under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
