On 10th December 2012, and in pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Regulations, the Department of Infrastructure has given CONSENT to the works proposed under reference, 12/01159/CON, by Manx Telecom Ltd for Registered Building consent for the installation of four face mounted antennas to existing chimneys and installation of internal wall mounted equipment cabinets (In association with 12/01158/GB) Registered Building Nos. 144 to Nightlife Market Place West Ramsey Isle Of Man IM8 1JU subject to compliance with the following conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This consent relates to the installation of four mounted antennas on chimneys, as shown in drawing no. 001, 002 and 003, all received on 20th August 2012 and photo survey and Drawing Number 107 - 'Internal Room Layout' and Drawing Number 108 - 'RRH's and Cable Tray Fixing Details' received on the 08th November 2012.
- Within one month of the antennas and their supporting structures being installed, they shall be colour coated to match the existing render of the chimney stack. Any replacement or modification shall be colour coated to match within one month of it being carried out.
- In the event of the antennas erected under this approval becoming redundant, they must be taken down along with all ancillary infrastructure and be removed from the site within 3 months of the cessation of the use. Any necessary repair work to the chimney stack, as a result of any damage caused by installation of the antennas, must also be carried out.

Guidance Note
This decision was made by the Development Control Manager in accordance with the authority delegated to her. This consent refers only to that required under The Registered Building Regulations 2005. Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.
An appeal form and guidance notes (as those used for a planning appeal) are available from either the Planning Office, Tel 685950, or to download from the Department’s website www.gov.im/transport/planning/plan/applications/decision.xml
Please note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision, together with correspondence relative to the application, are available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
If no appeal is lodged within 21 days of the date of issue overleaf, and this decision becomes final, the Department’s public reference copy (counter copy) of the planning application may be collected by the applicant or their agent from Murray House.
Please note that if the counter copy of the application is not collected within THIRTY DAYS following the last date on which a planning appeal can be made it will be destroyed without further notice.
