Assessment

The application is proposing to reinstate balcony railings to the property. The design of the balcony is the same design as the original railings on No. 70 Derby Square. The proposal will help to enhance the character and appearance of the Conservation Area and will not be detrimental to the visual amenities of the street scene.

It is recommended that planning permission be granted subject conditions.
