Re: Care Providers statement to accompany planning application submission.
Dear Sir Madame,
Further to our existing planning permission for two extra bedrooms at the care home (permission recently extended but originally drawn up 15 years ago), we felt a review was needed to determine if the plans still reflect service users' needs and if it complements the service operation in the same way.
The islands care sector has experienced change and modernisation over the last decade not to mention global financial challenges which contributed to our project being shelved till now. Summarily an updated set of plans are being submitted to acknowledge all this by tweaking the two-bedroom sizes, keeping the courtyard as an open space, giving the design longevity and adaptability in meeting future care requirements.
