Department Of Infrastructure Public Estates And Housing Division Sea Terminal Douglas IM1 2RF TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1999 The Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure)(No 2) Order 2013
In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act, and subordinate Orders and Regulations, the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture determined to APPROVE an application by Department Of Infrastructure, Ref 19/01434/B, for the Removal of chimney stacks and replacement of roof tiles at Chip Shop And MiniMarket 1-3 Clagh Vane Ballasalla Isle Of Man IM9 2HR and subject to compliance with the following condition(s) and notes (if any):
- The development hereby approved shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision notice.
Reason: To comply with article 14 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No2) Order 2013 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
This decision relates to the following plans and drawings, date stamped received on 23rd December 2019:
- o Drawing No. 05 Rev A- Existing Plans and Location Plan
- o Drawing No. 07 - Location Plan
- o Drawing No. D19 - Existing Elevation and Photographic Views
- o Drawing No. D20 - Proposed North and South Roof Elevations
- o Drawing No. D21 - Proposed West and East Roof Elevations

This decision was made by a Principal Planner in accordance with the authority delegated to them.

This decision refers only to that applied for under the Town and Country Planning Act 1999 and its subordinate legislation.
Any appeal against this decision must be in accordance with the criteria stated in the Order, specifically, a valid appeal must be in writing, signed by the appellant, and submitted to the Department within 21 days of the date of this Notice. To further validate the appeal it must contain:
payment of a planning appeal fee as prescribed in the current Fees Order; the reasons for making the appeal; and an election to have the appeal conducted by means of an inquiry (a hearing) or by means of written representation.

If no valid appeal is lodged within 21 days of the date of issue overleaf, and this decision becomes final, the Department’s public reference copy (counter copy) of the planning application may be collected by the applicant or their agent from Murray House.
