Foxdale Heritage Interpretation Boards Statement
Re. Planning Application For Foxdale Heritage Interpretation Boards
Foxdale Heritage (Charity No. 907) would like to erect an Interpretation Board with information (text and photographs) and a map introducing the Foxdale Heritage Trail, with a history of the village and the school. The location, dimensions of the board etc are included on the attached sheets.
This would be one of ten proposed boards around the village of Foxdale, explaining aspects of social and architectural history pertaining to the area, with particular reference to the Mining Industry and the associated Railway.
This particular board, which is No. 1 on the small village map, would be situated outside the fence around the playground of Foxdale School near the entrance for vehicular access, from Mines Road, to the school and also the Foxdale Heritage Centre.
