The comment stated;
We wish to object to the planning application for 13 Harcroft Avenue to widen the drive way.
The additional parking area appears to be unnecessary as there is already parking for thre to four cars at the property. We are concerned the new parking area will be used for the main house and the existing driveway be used in conjunction with the ancillary accomodation to this property making this easier to rent out.
The ancillary accomodation appears to be rented out to a third party, this is confirmed by the fact on the planning website this additonal accomodation has it own address 13A Harcroft Avenue when did this happen? we now have an additional property in our street? how can a new address be created without the neighboursd knowing ?
The original planning approval was for ancillary living accomodation not for a separate deweling to be rented out. The additional drive way area will impact on the use of this additonal accomodation as independent dwelling with additona cars at the property.
Therefore we object on the grounds this may lead to the additional accomodation being rented out which is not in keeping with the original planning approval and would change the overall scence of the area.
