Highways Representation history for this case.
DNO on 2-5-18
Conditions (if any)
The property is an existing 2 bedroom residential apartment in a block of 4 apartments. The proposal would allow it to also be used as tourist accommodation. There is an existing pedestrian access to the site frontage and a vehicular access, with dropped kerbs, to the side of the building that provides access to garages at the rear. There is also unrestricted parking on an area of hardstanding opposite the site. There would be no site access or parking changes as a result of the development. There should be no increase in site traffic or parking demand as tourist use of the property should be similar to residential use in highway terms. Therefore, no new highway issues should be created. Highway Services does not oppose the application.
