Highways Representation history for this case. DNO on 13-12-17 Conditions (if any)
Retrospective planning permission is sought following an alleged breach of planning control, (ref: 17/00187/COMP dated 7th November 2017). The applicant has erected a 1.8m fence around the property after misinterpreting the permitted development order and did not realise that planning approval was required. The dwelling is bounded on 3 sides by public roads, Farrants Way to the east, Farrants Park to the west and Close Malew to the north. Close Malew is subject to a 20mph speed limit. The visibility splay was checked exiting Farrants Park onto Close Malew and exiting Close Malew onto Farrants Way. The newly erected fence does not impinge on the visibility splays at either of these locations. There are no highway implications as a result of the proposals and therefore Highway Services does not oppose this application.
